Stephen E Dill in his book ‘in the beginnings’ suggests that ‘the beginning of creation’ (TBOC) refers to the creation of humans. I.e.day 6. I entirely agree with this profound insight. Humans were created late on in the creation account in day 6, not the beginning (day 1 and 2?) of creation at all. TBOC could be referring to a general term for creation and be saying that everything was male and female in all creative events. But this is a less precise use of ‘beginning’ as organisms were not made from the beginning also, nothing was male and female early on and some organisms are not male and female anyway. Both Mark 13 :19, 2 Peter 3:4 link this time with human kind.
