A New Testament Synopsis:
God sends forth Man, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. There will be an interaction with Man where He will accept Christ and various spiritual gifts. Man will spiritually grow and become more like Christ and will help in evangelising..
Chronology is the first structural rule in that this ‘synopsis’ of salvation, in the correct chronological order, occurs at least 18 times in Genesis 1 and 2.
Before and after: Every verse and every word n Genesis 1 and 2 are in the form before- and after-salvation declarations. For example a moving creature that has life becomes a living creature that moves in Day 5. (I will show how this represents the Holy Spirit carrying the Word of God and image life and how these are both then planted in Man.)
Image and likeness: Genesis 1:6-28 describe God defining how He will make Man and He then actually describes it in that specific order of ‘images’ then ‘likenesses’. I suggest that as the kosmos-ruah metaphor is all about making Man’s spirit then He will do it in the same format – with image then likeness structuring. It occurs at least 18 times in Genesis 1 and 2.
These are just the first three rules, the Kosmos-Ruah Metaphor book will describe four more. The seventh of these is the most elaborate and absolutely astonishing (it occurs 66 times).
